As you may or may not know, the AHT is run on purely voluntary help by a small band of very hard working enthusiasts whom keep over 300 members happy with the production of Dirigible Magazine, supporting enquiries, providing lectures and social events and even this website. Of course as a Registered Charity it also has to operate professionally within company and charity regulations.

A vacancy has appeared for the role of Treasurer to for the Trust which we need a volunteer who can spare approximately 5 hours per month (max) to fulfill the following roles :-

• Track all incoming and outgoing payments made by the Trust on spreadsheet
• Issue cheques and correspond for bill payments on behalf of the Trust.
• Liaise with Company Secretary on an annual basis for production of records for the Annual Report and Accounts
• Report on a quarterly basis the state of the accounts to the AHT Council.

If you are willing to assist in this task, please contact the AHT webmaster with regards to this role within the Trust. The role is open to any AHT member who wishes to participate in the Trust on a more active level and will also mean co-option and eventual election to the Council of the AHT.

Requirements :-

We require someone who :-

• Is reliable, trustworthy and comfortable with numeracy.
• Is able to operate a PC and has an reasonable understanding of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets (the records are quite simple to track).
• Can correspond via e-mail with the Membership Secretary, Executive Secretary, Webmaster and Editor of Dirigible Magazine
• Able to attend AHT council meetings 4 times per annum.
• AGE IS NOT IMPORTANT !
